Snapshot table
A table that records the state of something at given moments (for example cumulative bookings 30 days out); its values are states, not additive events.
In detail
Summing a snapshot column across snapshots double-counts. Use one snapshot per key (the one valid at decision time) or the last value, and sum only event (incremental) columns.
