The airline launches a new route next quarter and the network team needs weekly demand forecasts and a first capacity plan, but the route has no history. How do you forecast it, how do you update as data arrives, and how do you evaluate the method before launch?

Tests: Cold-start forecasting: analogue selection, hierarchical or shrinkage priors, ramp-up modelling, sequential updating and backtesting a method that is applied to series without history.
