Small multiples

A grid of small charts with the same encoding and a shared axis, one per segment, so the reader compares shapes across segments at a glance.

In detail

Use them when the same comparison must be repeated across routes, markets or products. Axes must be shared (or the difference clearly flagged); otherwise readers compare tick labels instead of shapes.
