Introduced on day 47
JSON Schema
A vocabulary for describing the allowed shape of a JSON document (types, required keys, enumerated values, extra keys) so that code can validate it.
In detail
A schema asserts structure only: that a key exists, a value has a type or belongs to an enumeration, a number lies in a range. It cannot assert that a value is true, that it agrees with the source text or that the caller is permitted to act. LLM providers use JSON Schema to describe tool inputs and to constrain outputs; supported keywords differ between providers, so keep schemas within the documented subset.
