Evidence weight

The share of a recorded item that counts toward a dimension estimate - base weight by kind multiplied by 0.5 to the power of age in days divided by 45.

In detail

First-attempt core, probe, scenario, interview and studio items have base weight 1; teach-back 0.75; reviews 0.5; repeats of an already-seen item 0.25. Old evidence decays with a 45-day half-life. A dimension needs at least three distinct items and a total weight of 2 before an estimate is shown.
