Introduced on day 57

Evidence label

A tag attached to a reported number that says what kind of evidence it is - measured retrieval-only, measured generated answers, assumed, or not assessed.

In detail

Labels keep retrieval metrics from being read as answer quality and keep assumed inputs (a cost per call, a latency target) from being read as measurements. A generated-answer label should name the model identifier, the date and the number of answers read. A number without a run file behind it is marked not shown.
