Decision cutoff

The moment a prediction is made and acted on; only information that existed at that moment may be used as input.

Also called the prediction time or as-of time. In the airline example the cutoff is the D-14 booking snapshot. Every feature window must end at the cutoff, and every baseline must obey the same rule.
