Observed sales or bookings stop at a capacity or booking limit, so on constrained units they understate true demand.
In detail
When many flights hit their booking limit, bookings growth is a lower bound on demand growth. Report the share of constrained units next to the metric; estimating unconstrained demand is covered on Day 28.
